This week on the podcast, I invite you to contemplate something that I am deep in exploration with—am I busy, or am I just addicted to being busy?

Our culture rewards and expects us all to hustle, work hard, and struggle to be successful. But as someone who spends a fair bit of time observing myself and others, I had a little epiphany recently: I’m doing this to myself!

How many times have your heard these words this week, or even said them yourself: I’m so busy. Or I don’t have time for that. I get it. We all juggle many aspects of life—work, family, study, social life, spiritual practices, exercise, and other healthy habits.

Yes, I do have many things to do at work and in the rest of my life, but I am the one creating the frenetic energy and stress in response to that to-do list. What if I let it go and just focus on the thing in front of me without making up stories about all the people I will disappoint? What if I allow my energy to flow effortlessly and rely on my expertise, experience, and unique perspective to support what I do? In turn, that would support all those around me. Join me in devoting yourself to freedom, ease, and grace in ALL aspects of our lives.
